Marco Sebastiani, assistant manager of the Rona store in Coquitlam, gets a poppy from Lorretta Rodrigues, the chairperson of the poppy drive for the Port Moody Legion, Branch 119, which covers the north part of the city.
Legion members will offer the poppies around the Tri-Cities until Nov. 10 - the day before Remembrance Day.
Proceeds from the campaign go to support veterans' care as well as scholarships for their families.
