Wings has put up a sign saying a new restaurant is coming to the former Burrard Public House location.

What kind of chicken wings do you like best: buffalo, teriyaki, garlic?

Perhaps you prefer more international flavours or something just salty and plain?

You'll soon be able to make a choice at a new restaurant that appears to be headed for Port Moody's downtown core

Signage has been posted outside the former Burrard Public House at 2414 St. Johns St. indicating a new Wings restaurant is "under construction."

The Tri-City News has reached out to the Burnaby-based company for more details as to when the eatery might open and will update when information becomes available.

This will be the second Wings restaurant for the Tri-Cities, as there is one located at 345 North Rd. in Coquitlam.

On the website, the Port Moody location is listed along with 14 others across the Lower Mainland and B.C. since the chain started in 2001.

Wings offers 26 "globally inspired" flavours of wings, including Thai Chili Lime, Louisiana Sweet, Korean Sticky Sesame and Fiji Flame.

The popular Burrard Public House closed down during the COVID-19 pandemic, likely disappointing many fans who posted good reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor.
