A Port Coquitlam man has been charged with aggravated assault in relation to a stabbing last Thursday in Mission.
The attack occurred outside the victim’s home and the victim and assailant knew each other, according to Mission RCMP.
The victim is recovering from the injuries and police said the incident revolved around historical matters between the victim and the suspect.
With assistance from the Coquitlam RCMP, the alleged assailant was arrested and, last Friday, 32-year-old Kyle Robert Kollman of PoCo appeared before court. He has since been released from custody with conditions.
