The Port Coquitlam resident is now $66,000 richer after playing Toto, a Sports Action game, that allows a players to pick 11, 12 or 13 winners from the BCLC games menu.

“I was watching the games on Sunday so I knew I had them all right,” he said in a news release. “I had calculated and thought I had won $47,000 so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw $66,000.”

Gemmell said he has enjoyed playing the game in competition against his friends but he’s happy to receive the money.

He added that he intends to use some of the proceeds to make some repair around the house, put away for retirement and travel once COVID-19 restrictions are removed.
