Michael Rendulic, owner of Port Coquitlam based AVinhouse, was awarded the Bronze Creative Excellence Award in the Wedding Movie Trailer category during the WEVA Expo 2011.
The Wedding Movie Trailer Rendulic was recognized for was from Anita and Marko Mrsic's wedding, which he filmed on July 9, 2011, at the Heart of Mary Croatian Roman Catholic Church, the Croatian Cultural Centre, and downtown Vancouver. The wedding movie trailer is a teaser highlight of a wedding video, released prior to the wedding video completion.
It was chosen through online voting.
"The WEVA CEA is the most prestigious event video award and to be recognized by my peers as having produced one of the best videos is truly an honour," Rendulic stated in a press release.
WEVA International is an association representing more than 4,000 professional wedding and event videographers around the world.
