Port Moody Police Department is trying to track down between 40 and 50 vehicle keys that were taken at gunpoint Wednesday morning from Westwood Honda.
At 8 a.m., a man approached an employees and asked for a set of keys for a used vehicle on the lot. When the employee stated that he did not have the keys, the suspect produced a hand gun and demanded the keys to a nearby SUV - and all the keys the employee was carrying.
The vehicle was found a short time later in Coquitlam but the keys were not. All of the vehicles affected have had their locks reprogrammed.
The suspect is described as a 25-year-old Caucasian male with a gaunt face; at the time of the offence he was wearing sunglasses and a cream-coloured hat.
