Port Moody police are patrolling the neighbourhood around Spring Street after someone shot paintballs at two vehicles, shattering at least one window.

At 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, police received a report that a vehicle was hit while driving along Spring Street. When they arrived, police found a second vehicle with a shattered rear windshield.

Police did not find any bullets or BB’s, and nobody in the neighbourhood heard a gunshot, according to community relations officer Const. Jason Maschke.

“If it were a higher velocity, people would hear that,” he said.

The PMPD is asking that anyone with information regarding the incident to call the police non-emergency line at 604-461-3456.
