Police in Port Moody are looking for a man who allegedly robbed the Subway restaurant on St. Johns Street last month.
The incident occurred on February 17 at around 4:30 p.m. when a male entered the shop and demanded money. Over the course of the robbery, a weapon was produced and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.
The man with the weapon is described as a Caucasian male who is between 5'8" and 5'10" with a medium build. He has brown facial hair, a small nose, an oval face and wore gloves, a greed hooded sweatshirt and mirrored rectangular sunglasses at the time of the theft.
Port Moody Police Const. Luke van Winkel told The Tri-City News that investigators are also interested in talking to a woman who may have witnessed the incident.
"She walked in at the tail end of this," he said. "She is not in trouble or anything We are just really hoping to speak to her."
