The city is also supporting grads by encouraging the community to print a congratulatory sign and hang it in the windows of their homes and businesses, and recognize grads with a custom Facebook photo frame which you can add to your profile picture by searching “Port Moody 2020 Grad.”

The dome lights of city hall will light up in the colours of each school as they celebrate their virtual commencement ceremonies, glowing burgundy June 15 for Heritage Woods secondary graduates and blue June 20 for Port Moody secondary students.

Also on June 20, the city is encouraging all the residents of Port Moody to join all of B.C. at 8:20 p.m. in a province-wide Grad 2020 Shout Out.
