The RCMP and cities of Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam are raising awareness of victims of crime by tying purple ribbons on police cars.
At a special recognition event today, Thursday, Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart, PoCo Mayor Greg Moore, Supt. Claude Wilcott and victim services coordinator Tim Hall took part in a photo opportunity marking National Victims of Crime Awareness Week's purple ribbon campaign.
