Police are looking for information surrounding a shooting late Tuesday night near a mobile home park off King Edward Avenue in Coquitlam.
A man in his mid-40s was shot but received only minor, non-threatening injuries and police are releasing few details.
"We cannot disclose any suspect information because major crime is still working on it," said Cpl. Jamie Chung, adding "We will definitely be looking at any gang or drug connections but at this time it's too early to confirm it one way or another."
Police found the victim in the 100-block of King Edward Street around 11 p.m. after someone called 911. Chung said residents in the Mill Creek Village mobile home park are being canvassed to see if anyone saw or heard anything.
