Mounties are on the lookout for two missing Tri-City residents.

Deborah Sylva, 38, of Coquitlam, was last seen at 2 p.m. on Wednesday while undergoing medical tests at Royal Columbian Hospital; she left the New Westminster facility before her results came back.

Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung said Sylva's illness could be fatal if she doesn't get proper treatment. She is described as Asian, with black hair and brown eyes, 5'7" tall and weighing 140 lb.; she was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and runners.

Meanwhile, a frequent runaway was reported as missing from her Port Coquitlam home, also on Wednesday.

Chung said investigators don't believe Fhionna McCormick, 12, "has come to any harm." She is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, dyed blonde hair with green bangs, brown eyes, a thin build, 5'5" tall and weighing 110 lb.; she was last seen wearing green jeans, a grey t-shirt, blue hoodie and blue sandals.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sylva or McCormick is asked to call 604-945-1550.
