RCMP looking to identify person of interest in alleged Pitt Meadows robbery

Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers says tipsters could receive a reward of up to $5,000 if what they provide leads to an arrest and charges.

Police in a Tri-Cities neighbouring community are asking for the public's help with a recent alleged robbery case.

Ridge Meadows RCMP are hoping someone can help identify a man as a person of interest allegedly involved after a Pitt Meadows business claims it was robbed on Aug. 9, 2021.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 4 and 5 p.m. at a business on 19800-block Lougheed Highway.

Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers has also dubbed this as its "Crime of the Week" and explain any tips that come in and lead to an arrest and charges may result in a reward of up to $5,000.

Mounties describe the suspect as:

  • White
  • 5'7" tall
  • Short brown hair
  • Wearing...
    • Blue jeans
    • Light grey hoodie pullover shirt
    • Brown designer-brand messenger-style bag

Police are asking for witness statements, photos and/or dash cam footage of the alleged robbery.
