Nighttime closures are expected along Pinetree Way in Coquitlam starting this week as construction crews work to install large concrete girders required for the Evergreen Line's Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station.
Work will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for approximately three nights within the next week and closures will be required between Burlington Drive and Town Centre Boulevard for the delivery of the beams.
There may also be some nighttime noise related to the structural work, including the installation of steel reinforcements, concrete pouring, drilling, welding and the use of heavy machinery.
Parking restrictions are expected to be in place east of Pinetree Way between Guildford Way and Town Centre Boulevard.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving through the area.
