District 43 Parent Advisory Council is changing its venue for tomorrow (Wednesday)'s Annual General Meeting and elections because of a walkout by teachers.
The meeting will now be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Poirier branch of the Coquitlam Public Library. It will be held in the Nancy Bennett Room in the library, which is located at 575 Poirier St., in Coquitlam.
"Out of respect to the teachers and CUPE members honoring the strike, we have moved the venue over to the Poirier Public Library," the parent group said in a statement.
