Como Lake Avenue between Clarke Road and Elmwood Street will be closed between 8 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) and 8 a.m. Sunday for work on the Evergreen Line.
Construction crews will be using a large crane to move the launching truss into its final position so that it is ready to hoist segments and begin construction of the elevated guideway.
Drivers travelling west on Como Lake Avenue will be detoured left on Clarke Road to Smith Avenue. Drivers travelling east on Como Lake will be detoured right on North Road to Smith Avenue.
Nearby residents can expect some noise related to the construction activities but efforts will be made to minimize the disruption.
