Registration is now open for Coquitlam residents wanting to take part in the fall city-wide garage sale and giveaway.
The sale, which is happening on Sept. 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., gives residents a chance to clear out their unused and unwanted items from their closets and sell them from their home.
It also gives shoppers great deals on gently used goods and it cuts the municipality’s waste going to the landfill.
Participants have until 4 p.m. on Sept. 20 to register via coquitlam.ca/garagesale.
The event is open to residents in single-family homes and duplexes.
Coquitlam residents who can’t join in can donate their wares for recycling.
