The Coquitlam RCMP is advising the publicto take alternative routes after a serious collision closed down a portion of North Road.
Police are blocking off North Road between Holmes Street and Lougheed Highway because of the accident Tuesday afternoon involving a semi tractor and two other vehicles.
Coquitlam RCMP and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) are at the scene to complete an investigation.
Northbound traffic on North Road coming from New Westminster to Coquitlam should use either Braid or Homes Street.
Southbound traffic on North Road leaving Coquitlam should use either Austin Avenue or Lougheed Hwy.
