Shots fired into a home in the 1200 block of Thomas Avenue in Coquitlam at about 1:15 a.m. today Friday were likely targeted, Coquitlam RCMP say.
Although it’s early in the investigation, police say they believe the overnight drive-by was intended for the occupants of the home. However, the investigation is continuing and members of the public who may have relevant information are asked to contact police.
Police were on the scene after getting several 911 calls. Multiple shots had been fired into the home.
No one has been arrested but police are gathering evidence and are interviewing witnesses.
