The buckets of ice keep filling up in the Tri-Cities in support of ALS research.
And the local videos for the social media challenge continue to get more creative, too.
This week, Robert Randall of the Young Actors Project (YAP) in Port Moody released his version of the chilly dousing: a silent black-and-white film in the style of Charlie Chaplin, where he tries three times to pour water over his head.
Afterward, Randall nominates the cast of YAP's Wonderland High to follow suit.
Other challenge videos from Tri-City residents have also surfaced recently, including from the Coquitlam Pedalheads (Pinetree location); Tri-Cities' Chamber of Commerce executive director Michael Hind; and KidSport executive director and Coquitlam Coun. Chris Wilson, who is seen wake boarding in the Okanagan.
And Port Coquitlam MLA Mike Farnworth - the NDP finance critic, who was nominated by PoCo Mayor Greg Moore - also has a video on his Facebook page, with a great expression after he drenches himself with cold water.
The social media challenge has gone viral this month, garnering awareness and funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease."
