One man is in hospital with non life-threatening injuries and another is in jail after a stabbing occurred in Coquitlam Wednesday night.
The incident took place just after 10:30 p.m. near Johnson Street and Guildford Way when an altercation broke out between four to five people.
Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung said the suspect and the victim knew each other and police are still interviewing witnesses.
"Charges are pending," he said. "It depends on what we find out."
The suspect was arrested and police said the investigation is ongoing.
