Suspect sports Superman shirt in alleged Tim Horton's theft

An alleged thief donned a superhero shirt to rob a Coquitlam doughnut shop last week.

The suspect entered the Tim Hortons in the 3000-block of Lougheed Highway between 7:30 and 8 p.m. on Sept. 9 and stole an iPad that was used to advertise the restaurant's specials.

Footage from the Tim's security camera show the suspect as a man in his 20s or 30s, average height and weight, and "scruffy looking," according to police. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a black bandana on his head, a black Superman t-shirt, black pants and white or light-coloured sneakers.
