Suspect used finger gun to rob bank, police say

Coquitlam RCMP are hoping to identify a suspect who took a child's cops-and-robbers approach to a bank robbery. On Aug. 2, a man entered a North Road bank, waited to see a teller then walked behind the counter and yelled out that it was a robbery.

On Aug. 2, a man entered a North Road bank, waited to see a teller then walked behind the counter and yelled out that it was a robbery.

He pointed his fingers like a gun.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and nobody was hurt in the incident.

He's described as a 40- to 50-year-old Caucasian man about 5'8" tall with a thin build and short, grey hair.
