A suspicious package spotted at Coquitlam Centre mall late this afternoon shut down part of the busy shopping centre for about an hour.
Police were called at about 5 p.m. and the northeast plaza as well as the H&M entrance were closed as officers investigated.
Coquitlam RCMP issued a release just before 7 p.m. stating that the situation had been resolved but there were no other details available about the package or why it was deemed suspicious.
Coquitlam Centre is normally closed at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays.
