Drivers traveling westbound on Lougheed Highway tonight should be alert for road closures.
Between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., motorists will be detoured along United Boulevard and will access Lougheed Highway via the King Edward Street Overpass. Access to HIghway 1 westbound will also be via the King Edward Overpass and then the Brunette Avenue Interchange.
The detour allows for construction along the route as part of the Port Mann Highway 1 construction project.
Drivers are encouraged to watch for work crews and equipment and obey all traffic control personnel and signs, including construction speed limits.
