The Tri-Cities C1 midget team, seen here defeating Abbotsford 1-0, took advantage of being on home ice to win their pool at the Tri-Cities Female Ice Classic earlier this month.
The team went 2-0 in round-robin play to lead Pool A. Other midget clubs did not fair quite as well, with the C3 team finsihing in third with a 1-1 record in Pool B, while the C2 club finished fourth with a 0-2 record.
