Here's what's on in the Tri-Cities for Wednesday, April 3, 2024: 


Speech, language

Families can talk with one of the Fraser Health unit's speech–language pathologists after a brief screening of ther child's communication skills. The drop-in clinic runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Terry Fox Library (2150 Wilson Ave., Port Coquitlam).

Toddlers stories

Little ones — ages two to five — and their caregivers can hear stories from the Coquitlam Public Library surrounded by artwork. The drop-in from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. takes place in the Art Gallery at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). No registration is required. The gallery fits 30 people.

Piano duo

Pianists Marcel and Elizabeth Bergmann will be joined by trombonist Jeremy Berkman for the concert From Carnegie Hall to Car Radio, at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $32/$28/$16.

Be bear aware

Find out how to be bear aware as the bruins wake up from hibernation, at an information session in the JB Young Room at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) from 7 to 9 p.m.
