Driving after 80
Seniors are invited to hear from Kathleen Nadalin, ICBC road safety and community co-ordinator, about safe driving and road habits after the age of 80. The event, happening at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilson Lounge at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.), is hosted by the Wilson Seniors Advisory Association and the City of Port Coquitlam.

Cheer on the Coquitlam Express hockey team as they battle the Alberni Valley Bulldogs on home ice, the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St.), at 7 p.m.

Hummingbirds
Photographer Ron Long will show his hummingbird images at a Burke Mountain Naturalists’ meeting, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Como Lake United Church in Coquitlam (535 Marmont St.). Long, who travels extensively, was the sciences photographer at SFU for 36 years.
