Ring, stick and puck
Practice your hockey or ringette skills at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). The activity from 7:30 to 9 a.m. is open to ages four and up and who can skate. Skaters ages eight and under must be accompanied by a supervisor age 16 and older. Goalies are not permitted.

Bird counter
Be part of the Audubon Christmas Bird Count in the Tri-Cities with the Burke Mountain Naturalists. Join a team in the field or watch your bird feeders for the day (if you living within the official count circle).

PoCo skate
Lace up your skates for a spin at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). There are three sessions today for the public: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1:30 to 3 p.m.; and 7:30 to 9 p.m. Donations to the SHARE Family and Community Services’ food bank will be accepted.

Carnival night
Try your hand at games during Carnival Night at Lights at Lafarge, taking place at Town Centre Park in Coquitlam (1299 Pinetree Way) from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the plaza.
