Hockey at the Palace

Root on the Coquitlam Express as they meet the Chilliwack Chiefs on home ice at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St.) at 7 p.m.

Don your Port Coquitlam Trailblazers jersey for a 7 p.m. game at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.) versus the Grandview Steelers.

Live music

Head over to Leigh Square (next to Port Coquitlam City Hall) to hear live and support the Crossroads Hospice Society. At 7:30 p.m. Songtree — aka Earle Peach and Barbara Jackson — will open the show while headliner Robert Atyeo performs at 8:50 p.m. Admission is $10.

Sherlock Holmes

Enter the world of detective Sherlock Holmes in Baskerville, the second offering of the season by the Stage 43 Theatrical Society. Directed by Dale Kelly and written by Ken Ludwig, the play at 7:30 p.m. sees five actors portray more than 40 characters. Tickets are $30/$25.
