Trick or treat?

Kids can get dressed up in their Halloween costumes, take photos with emergency personnel and go trick or treating at Buchanan Square outside Coquitlam City Hall (2986 Guildford Way) from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Coquitlam RCMP, firefighters, bylaw officers, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, Port Coquitlam Community Police officials, CrimeStoppers and ICBC Road Safe will be on site for the family event.

House on Haunted Hill

Enjoy a screening of the 1959 flick House on Haunted Hill, a movie by William Castle starring Vincent Price and Carol Ohmart. The film rolls at 6:30 p.m. at Mackin House (1116 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam). Entry is a minimum donation of $5.

Sexy Laundry

The Arts Club on Tour presents Sexy Laundry, a play about Alice and Henry who have lost their mojo in their 25-year marriage. The show runs at 7:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way). Tickets are $52/$44/$16.
