Coyote talk

With coyote breeding season underway, the cities of Coquitlam and Port Moody are partnering with the Stanley Park Ecology Society to present a free information session for residents. The talk, How to Co-exist Safely with Coyotes, will provide tips on how to keep your family and pets safe from the wildlife. All ages are welcome to attend the event from 1 to 2 p.m. in Room 2/3 at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St., Coquitlam).

Follow the story of Francesco Mantini, a second-generation Italian teen growing up in Jasper, Alta. The Arts Club Theatre production by Farren Timoteo, which is based on the Western Canada Theatre show, is at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) until March 17. Tickets are $50/$42/$16. The performances start at 3 and 7 p.m.

Legion tunes

Dance to the music from Black Eyed Susan at the Royal Canadian Legion in Coquitlam (1025 Ridgeway Ave.). The band will be on the stage from 7 to 10 p.m. to entertain.

Free fallin’

The tribute artist Clayton Bellamy performs songs from Tom Petty at The Show Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver (2080 United Blvd., Coquitlam) at 7:30 p.m.
