Cheer on the Coquitlam Express as the hockey team battles Victoria on home ice at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (633 Poirier St., Coquitlam) at 7 p.m. It's the club's third annual Score for Cancer Game.

The Dimes
The trio The Dimes performs songs from the 1950s and up at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) as part of the facility’s Rehearsal Hall Sessions, from 8 to 9 p.m.

Salsa night
Learn the basic dance steps to Salsa — and dance the night away — with instructors Alberto Gonzalez and Teresa Szefler of the Salsa Dance Zone. Tonight’s lesson starts at 8 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam legion (2675 Shaughnessy St.), with the dance floor opening at 9 p.m. Admission is $15 and the event is open to ages 19 and up.
