PoCo Art
The City of Port Coquitlam opens three art exhibits with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Gathering Place at Leigh Square in Port Coquitlam. In the Michael Wright Art Gallery is Stories in Light by the International Watercolour Society of Canada. In The Outlet gallery is Neither Here Nor There, but Everywhere. Neither Then Nor Now, but Forever by Natasha Boskic, Linda Haftner, Pierre Leichner, Alex Lavrov, Johnny Tai, and Barbara Tevarotto. And at the Port Coquitlam City Hall gallery is Wax Fusion by Angela Tahara.

Murder on the Train
Grab a seat at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) to see the first show in Stage 43’s season: Murder on the Orient Express. Directed by Miles Lavkulich, the comedic whodunit is an adaption by Ken Ludwig and runs from Oct. 12 to 21 at the Coquitlam venue.

Cheer on the PoCo Trailblazers hockey team as it battles North Vancouver at 7 p.m. at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.).

Lost in Translation
N’riko and Tara Cannistraci bring their show Lost in Translation to the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver (2080 United Blvd., Coquitlam) at 7:30 p.m. N’ricko is from Naples, Italy, while Cannistraci is a Silician American. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the comedic and musical production.
