Babies and Brews
Parents with little ones can hang out with other parents and their babes at Babies and Brews, a meet-up organized by Coquitlam Public Library and Mariner Brewing. A librarian will be at the Coquitlam brewery (H-1100 Lansdowne Dr.) from noon to 2 p.m. with baby books, library resources and toys. The drop-in event is for newborns (up to four months) and their caretakers. No registration is required.

Fall Forest Walk
The City of Coquitlam’s Park Spark team will lead a Tree Spree Fall Forest Walk from noon to 1 p.m. from the Inspiration Garden (3091-3099 Guildford Way).

Birds and Bees
The Arts Club Theatre Company on Tour arrives at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam (1205 Pinetree Way) with The Birds & The Bees. Running from Oct. 24 to 28, the show follows a turkey farmer named Sarah who has split from her husband and has moved in with her mother, Gail, a beekeeper. The production has mature themes, strong language, sexual content and nudity. Tickets are $50/$42/$16.
