The sun shining across the Port Moody, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam this morning is expected to give way to clouds and a chance of showers this afternoon.
By evening Environment Canada is predicting a 70 per cent chance of wet snow or rain as the temperature dips below zero into the wee hours.
Tomorrow is predicted to be another mixed bag, with a 30 per cent chance of rain or flurries as the temperature hovers between 7 and minus 1.
For the weekend, you can expect clear skies with temperatures ranging from a high of 9 and a low of minus 1.

February 2019 was the coldest February on record in Metro Vancouver since the records began in 1937. Not only did the month see some frigid temperatures, but they also persisted throughout the month.
Although February saw the coldest temperatures to date, it also saw some of the greatest amounts of snowfall. In fact, 31.2 cm of snowfall was recorded at YVR, making it the eighth snowiest February on record.
