"We’re still here, and we’ll still continue to provide the quality community journalism that our readers have come to expect over our decades in our communities," says publisher Lara Graham.

The last print edition of the Tri-City News will be published Aug. 10.

The Tri-City News is moving into the digital-only age.

Next Thursday, Aug. 10 will mark the final print edition for the Tri-City News and its Glacier Media sister publications, the Burnaby NOW and the New West Record.

All three publications will continue to have a strong and vibrant presence in their communities via their websites and newsletters.

Publisher Lara Graham noted that it was a difficult decision to make, but it was the right one to respond to changing market conditions in the media industry.

“We’re not going anywhere,” she promised. “We’re still here, and we’ll still continue to provide the quality community journalism that our readers have come to expect over our decades in our communities.”
