Local charities benefited to the tune of $66,000 at the Unwrapped - a Charitable Night of Giving organized by Coquitlam Centre. The Nov. 20 event which featured food, shopping deals and entertainment attracted 4,400 attendees. Among the charities benefitting was Share Family and Community Services, which netted $9,239 for its holiday food bank and top shop programs. Charities that sold $10 tickets got to keep the revenue.
