Update: air quality advisory cancelled

Metro Vancouver sites clean air pushing haze away and precipitation forecast
Smog

An air quality advisory issued by Metro Vancouver on Thursday was cancelled today (Friday).
The regional district said air quality has improved with clean air pushing wildfire smoke out and the weather forecast calls for cooler temperatures and some precipitation over the next week.
In its release, Metro Vancouver noted active wildfires continue to produce smoke so it will keep monitoring conditions in case issuing another advisory is warranted.
