A Port Coquitlam woman who went missing earlier in the week was located Thursday night, said Coquitlam RCMP.

Cordula Thielke was planning on taking a new job up north and went missing only hours before she was supposed to catch her flight. Police did not specify where she was found but did say she was treated at the hospital and later release.

Thielke walked away from her home on Wilson Avenue at around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday as she was packing her car to go to YVR, leaving behind her keys, wallet and identification. Her roommate reported her missing at 10 a.m. and police believed at the time that she may have been on Burke Mountain.

Search and Rescue personnel were dispatched Wednesday afternoon.
