Mounties are looking for the owner of an urn that was found in a back alley in the 1100-block of Howie Avenue in Coquitlam earlier last week.
There are remains in the container, which is made of metal and adorned in engraved designs.
"It was left in the alley," said Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung. "It was left in the alley. Someone found it and realized waht it is and it was turned into us."
