Shane McCardle wanted to share his healthy journey with others making similar choices by enjoying a drink that tastes good without added sugars and chemicals.
A Port Moody resident and entrepreneur has been recognized south of the border for his venture into the world of healthy soda drinks.
Shane McCardle of Rocky Mountain Tisane recently earned Black Diamond status for his business and leadership skills with The Happy Co. — a producer and distributor of nootropic, functional beverage products with a focus on health and wellness.
In a news release sent to the Tri-City News, the Texas-based company says McCardle worked diligently to make a significant impact on him and his daughter, Thaila, whom he recently celebrated his success by building a camper and travelling together.
"I've always wanted to help people, and The Happy Co. gave me this amazing opportunity to engage with people and help them find ways to improve their lives by focusing on health and wellness," says McCardle.
"I'm grateful for the life I have now and proud that I've been a part of improving the lives of so many other people along the way."
McCardle found a strong connection with the Port Moody community, which led him to begin sharing the products with his network of friends and family.
After an introduction to the company during a challenging time in his personal life, he was able, in his first two months through dedicated work, to reach his personal financial goals.
