We’re not out of the woods yet when it comes to snow.
This morning, Environment Canada posted a snowfall warning for coastal British Columbia, including the Tri-Cities.
According to the agency, an approaching Pacific frontal system will bring precipitation to the area, beginning with rain and changing to wet snow or snow mixed with rain late this afternoon into early evening.
Snowfall with amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected over the North Shore, northeast sections of Metro Vancouver and the city of Vancouver, especially over higher terrain.
However, snow will taper off to a few rain showers or flurries before Tuesday morning.
Over the Fraser Valley, snow mixed with rain this evening will continue into Tuesday morning.
Drivers are warned that visibility may be reduced at times because of falling snow
