Terry Fox Library

Speech and Language Drop in Clinics

Drop in and talk with one of the Health Unit’s Speech-Language Pathologists. Your child will receive a brief screening of their communications skills. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Drop in.

Service Canada Pension Presentation

Learn about the Service Canada pension and have your questions answered by Service Canada representatives. This program is perfect for newcomers or anyone who is looking into retirement and wants to learn about these benefits. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1 to 2 p.m. Drop in.

Teen Advisory Group @ TF Library

Are you in grades 9 to 12 and interested in volunteering? Drop by the library to learn more.

Port Moody Public Library

Crochet Circle for Adults

Join our circle of crochet enthusiasts to share and learn new techniques. Bring your supplies to work on your own project. For crocheters who are familiar with the basic stitches. Friday, Feb. 16, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Registration required.

Pajama Storytime

Put your PJs on and come down to the Library for a fun storytime with puppets, songs, and more! Bring your favourite stuffed animal to the children's area to enjoy some fun before bedtime. Tuesdays, Feb. 13 and 27, 6:30 to 7 p.m. Drop in.

Teen Advisory Group

Volunteer to be part of our Teen Advisory Group. Meet new people and share your ideas for displays and events at the library.

Coquitlam Public Library

New Library Link

Coquitlam Public Library is replacing our aging Library Link book bus with a brand-new vehicle. Everyone is invited to join the celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 6 for the unveiling of the new Link, where you can step aboard the bus, meet Link staff and enjoy the festivities and refreshments. The event will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Poirier branch (575 Poirier St.).

Science Expo

The registration deadline for the 2024 Science Expo is coming soon. Tri-Cities students in grades 4–12 are encouraged to sign up by Feb. 21 for a chance to win amazing prizes, including a $1,500 scholarship for the senior age category. The expo will be held on Saturday, May 4. Visit coqlibrary.ca/science-expo.
