Port Moody Bandits have done it again -- amazingly.

Formerly based out of PoCo and called Tri-City, the Bandits became the first West Coast Sr. 'B' lacrosse league team to capture four straight provincial titles after blasting the Ladner Pioneers 15-5 Saturday at Burnaby's Bill Copeland Arena.

The win gave the Bandits a 3-1 playoff final series win and advanced them to the President's Cup national championship tournament Aug. 29 to Sept. 4 in Cornwall, Ont.

Kevin Riley and Matt Demkier delivered three goals apiece for the Bandits, who led 5-4 after the first period and then out-scored the Pioneers 5-0 in the second to take a commanding lead.

Athen Yuen and Rob Brommer tallied twice each for the winners. Other PoMo marksmen were Jarrett Dorman, Darren McEwen, Jordan Wong, Jackson Lee and Charlie Girdler, who added three assists.

Goalie Chad Miller blocked 38 shots.

In Game 3 Thursday in Ladner, Dorman was back and healthy after having torn his ACL last winter and had a huge impact. The PoCo Saints Jr. 'A' box grad whipped in three goals to guide the Bandits to an 8-5 triumph over the host Pioneers. Girdler supplied a goal and five assists for the winners.
