Former Coquitlam Reds' standout Brent Lawrence had a week to remember with the Northern State University Wolves men's baseball team.
The outfielder went six-for-16 at the plate with three runs scored and one driven in and ran his hitting streak to six straight games before it finally came to an end Sunday.
Against Southwestern Minnesota State, the lead-off hitter Lawrence opened the doubleheader by going two-for-four with an RBI in a 3-1 Wolves' win, then followed it with a one-for-four effort with two runs scored and a stolen base as Northern State in the nightcap.
Next at Upper Iowa, Lawrence went two-for-five with one RBI in the Wolves' 14-9 game one victory before going three-for-four in a 6-5 game two loss.
The NCAA Wolves are currently gunning for a spot in the Regional qualifying tournament.
