Five Coquitlam players representing B.C. at last week's Canadian Junior Racquetball Championships in Winnipeg brought home a total of six medals -- and one major award.

Leading the group was Josephine Choi, 13, who won gold in 14-under girls' doubles and silver in 16-under doubles, with partner Jewel Sauvé of Montreal.

Josephine was also awarded the event's Female Sportsmanship Award.

Chris Culhane and Josh Killins of Coquitlam were also crowned Canadian champions as gold medalists in 12-and-under doubles.

Josh's sister Grace Killins won gold in 10-and-under girls' singles, with Grace and Chris Culhane have been named to Team Canada and are eligible to represent Canada at the 2012 World Junior Racquetball Championships in Los Angeles in November. Chris's brother, 15-year old Connor Culhane, placed a respectable fifth in both 16- and 18-and-under singles.
