Three Coquitlam players will be on the Canadian junior national Under-17 team when it takes on the Americans in the USA-Canada Field Hockey Challenge running April 4-8 at West Vancouver's Rutledge Field.
Sydney Veljacic, Paige Hamilton and Samantha McIlwrick will represent the Tri-Cities on the 26-player Canadian team roster.
The first game goes Wednesday, followed by contests Thursday and Saturday, all starting at noon. Sunday's finale faces off at 9 a.m.
