Jarrett Dorman's back and healthy and the Port Moody Bandits have seldom looked stronger.

The PoCo Saints Jr. 'A' box grad whipped in three goals to guide the Bandits to an 8-5 triumph Thursday over the host Ladner Pioneers in West Coast Sr. 'B' playoff action.

The win boosted the Bandits to a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five final, with the winner advancing to the President's Cup national tournament in Cornwall, Ont.

Dorman appears to have his legs back after having torn his ACL last winter, just in time for the Bandits to make a run at becoming the first team to win four straight Sr. 'B' provincial titles.

Charlie Girdler supplied a goal and five assists for the winners, whose other marksmen were Justin Hawksbee, Athen Yuen, Ryan Mosdell and Cam Appels.

PoMo goalie Chad Miller blocked 41 shots.

The Bandits can clinch the B.C. title with a win in Game 4 on Saturday at Burnaby's Bill Copeland Arena, 8 p.m.
