Madeline Edwards of Port Moody teamed with Zhaokai Pang to win gold for Team BC in Novice Dance figure skating at the Canada Winter Games on Thursday in Halifax, N.S.
Team BC currently sits in third place in the medal count with 75 -- only one fewer than what they totalled the previous year in Whitehorse, Yukon -- with three days of competition still remaining.
Team BC comprises 242 athletes, 74 coaches and 22 mission staff at the Halifax Games.
